Hi Kyra! I want to say that I really enjoyed how in your media literacy definition you chose to say that media literacy is to make an impact in the world. I love that!

I also enjoyed reading your thoughts on why media literacy is important. You said that social media can inform when used properly. I wondered what your suggestions might be in order to use social media properly? How can we have a good media literacy? Should this be taught in school?

    Hello Kyra,

I agree with you that celebrities use social media as a way to offer support to the world’s social, environmental and war crises. I like that more than ever before, people on the public eye have used social media and their PLN to share and address important information and resources with their fans and followers. Thus, social media has become a crucial part of engaging directly with their fans all over the world.

    Regards.
